Overview
I am interested in developing our understanding of soil biological processes to improve the sustainability of cropping systems. As an agroecologist, I take a systems-level perspective to both crop nutrition and pest management. My approach to research focuses on bridging ecological mechanisms to crop management practices. I have a three-way appointment in the School of Plant and Environmental Sciences covering 60% research, 30% teaching and 10% service.
