Academic Advising

In the School of Plant and Environmental Sciences we know that academic advising is important to a student’s success. Our advisors help students come up with an academic plan to keep them on track to graduate; assist them in navigating Virginia Tech and keep them informed of the many resources available; help students learn more about themselves such as their interests, strengths, and values; and make students aware of many experiential learning activities so that students can apply their learning. Advisors advocate for students and are a person they can go to when they have questions or concerns. We listen, care, and help students figure things out!
